Free Demo
The free demo is a live, hosted website built specifically for your business. It is hosted for 7 days and includes a small visible watermark while it is live, which is a normal part of the free demo and helps Lachy's Web Dev reach new clients through word of mouth.
Hosting Packages
Monthly hosting is billed in advance via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Your website will be taken down if payment is not received within a reasonable grace period. After a minimum 3-month subscription, you may request the full website files to keep and host yourself, delivered with no watermark.
Website Files
Website files are available upon request after a minimum subscription period: 6 months on Starter, 3 months on Pro. Files are not provided on cancellation before this period. Lachy's Web Dev retains no claim over your business content or information. The files are yours once delivered.
Revisions & Changes
Unlimited revisions (Pro plan) are subject to complexity, reasonability, and current workload. Small changes are always included. Large redesigns or new features may be quoted separately. Additional revisions on the Starter plan beyond the included monthly allowance will be quoted individually.
AI Chatbot
The Pro plan can include an AI chatbot for your website. The included monthly message allowance (around 50 messages) is a rough estimate and may be upgraded for higher volumes. Availability depends on a valid third-party AI provider being configured.
Service Availability
Lachy's Web Dev makes no guarantee that this service will operate indefinitely. In the event the service ends, all affected clients will be given reasonable notice and their website files delivered at no charge. Lachy's Web Dev reserves the right to end the service relationship with any client at any time, in which case files will be provided and any prepaid unused period refunded.
Uptime
Hosted websites are deployed via Netlify. Uptime performance is Netlify's commitment, not Lachy's Web Dev's personal guarantee. Lachy's Web Dev is not liable for third-party infrastructure outages.
Pricing
All prices are in AUD and may change in the future. Existing customers will always receive advance notice of any price changes. Domain costs are separate from hosting costs and vary based on availability and demand; these will be confirmed before any commitment is made.
Referrals
When you refer another business who signs up to a hosting plan, both you and the referred business receive one month of hosting free. The free month is credited once the referred business's first payment is processed. Referrals are stackable.
Payments
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. ABN: 14 399 881 455.
What We Collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, business name, business location, email address, and the message you provide. We also collect information about how you heard about us.
How We Use It

- To contact you about your enquiry and ongoing service
- To send invoices and manage your account
Who Sees It
Your information is seen only by Lachy's Web Dev. Form submissions are processed by Netlify (netlify.com); see their privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy. We do not sell, share, or rent your information to any third party.
AI-Assisted Tools
Some tools and software used in the course of delivering our services may incorporate artificial intelligence features. Information you provide may be processed by such tools solely for the purpose of building and improving your website. We do not use your information to train AI models, and any AI-assisted processing is limited to legitimate business operations on your behalf.
Data Retention
We retain your information for the duration of the service relationship and for a reasonable period after, as required for billing and legal purposes.
Your Rights
You may request to view, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing lachyswebdev@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

This website does not use cookies or tracking scripts.
